This is the first initial appointment, taking place in person.
Appointments take place in a comfortable private treatment room in either Brighton city centre or London Bridge. Home visits can sometimes be accommodated so please reach out if you’d like to enquire about this service.
Initial appointments usually take 60 - 90 minutes and involve a discussion and exploration into the primary health concern, alongside a full holistic assessment. This includes discussing diet, lifestyle and emotional / historical factors which may contribute to the overall health picture.
Some clinical examinations be required such as blood pressure and pulse taking, tongue diagnosis or muscular / nerve related assessments which can be undertaken during the consultation if appropriate.
Following the initial consultation a treatment plan including 4 weeks of herbal medicine in the form of tincture, tea or topical formulations will be prescribed. Herbal prescriptions are always completely bespoke, and formulated to the individual needs of the client. The treatment plan includes nutritional and lifestyle advice to support in the health journey, alongside the herbal medicine.
Medicine is priced separately and prices start from £10 per week depending on what is being prescribed, this can be discussed during the consultation. The herbal medicine can be sent via post or collected in person.
A follow up visit is usually booked in 4 weeks after the initial consultation to asses the progress of the herbal treatment.
This consultation takes place 2-4 weeks after the initial consultation. Online follow up appointments take place via zoom.
Follow up appointments serve to assess the course of the herbal treatment and how the treatment is progressing. As the health journey unfolds other herbs may be introduced into the prescription, or repeat prescriptions may be required. Follow ups are an key part of an effective herbal treatment plan and a place to share any new insights or concerns, and to address further needs.
